Second Chance 4 Pets Network was founded in 2012 to fill a need to help pets not only in our community but throughout the northwest Indiana region.

Our volunteers are committed to helping people help animals whether finding an adoptive home for a homeless pet, helping a person on a limited income keep their beloved pet in their home, or reducing pet overpopulation by spaying/neutering free-roaming strays. Our goal is to network with other animal rescue and no-kill shelters and help as many animals as we possibly can.

Second Chance 4 Pets Network has filed to become a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the State of Indiana.

Our Mission Statement

The purpose of Second Chance 4 Pets Network is to help people help animals.

We will accomplish this goal by providing low-cost spaying/neutering and vaccinations, T-N-R, micro-chipping, a rehoming assistance program, foster care for homeless pets, adoption program, emergency medical funds for injured pets, community education, and assisting local pet food pantries, no-kill shelters and rescues.

We can reduce the number of pets coming into shelters by spaying/neutering free-roaming strays, micro-chipping pets to help them reunite with their owners and providing assistance to owners to help them keep their pets in their homes where they belong.
